I feel like I haven’t written about Pharrell for a hot minute (it’s actually been six weeks) but fortunately, the Man Who Does Not Age is on to the next thing and it looks like he’s going to achieve actual immortality with this one. Being rendered by Matt Groening for the first time, Pharrell will be making his The Simpsons debut on a February 8 episode. According to Simpsons executive producer Al Jean, Skateboard P “offers to write a new anthem for the town” in an episode inspired by a true story of a Milwaukee television station that hired a composer to create a similar song in the ‘80s, only to have him spruik the same song to numerous other cities. You can take a sneak peek at Pharrell: Simpsonised above and keep an eye out for the episode, airing on February 8.
