PREMIERE: Phil Fresh Hits the Dancefloor on New Single ‘GLOW’

The Sydney artist returns with a smooth retro music video and some serious dance moves.

Phil Fresh has had a solid run this year considering we’ve been living in pandemic-world. The Sydney artist impressed us with his low-key track ‘Forever’ alongside Bread Club, and the thumping ‘OH MY GOD’ back in March—not to mention collaborations with Kwame and being picked as the opener for Sydney’s favourite boy band Triple One for their album release show earlier this month.

Not one to shy away from a switch up, Fresh recently put out a double single release titled 2 Songs Off The EP I Meant To Drop Last Year, which sees a pairing of two very different and versatile stylings from the young artist. The first and lead single from the release entitled ‘GLOW’ is one of his most unique releases to date, and is Fresh’s embodiment of self-confidence and self-empowerment in the face of dark or trying times. For the video, he was inspired by memories of himself as a youngster, trying to teach himself the dance moves from his favourite R&B tracks and in turn, decided to link up with Sela Vai to help choreograph his own moves and bring that vintage style to life.
