Things are looking pretty bad for Chris Brown’s scheduled Australian tour. Community action group GetUp! recently began a petition to ask the government to refuse Brown a visa to perform in the country, the new Minister for Women Michaelia Cash believes that he should be denied entry and Nova FM radio network have pulled their support for the tour. The move by the government is in line with their recent action banning Tyler the Creator, from entering the country for content of his old lyrics. It would be a serious double standard to allow Brown entry, considering his criminal charges. Tweets have appeared from the pleading to angry, and logical. Check them out above.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Brown has been denied entry to a country for his criminal record, in 2010 he was refused entry to the UK and New Zealand is looking unlikely to approve Brown a visa to play his One Hell of a Night tour later this year.
