Naysayer & Gilsun exist somewhere in their own dimension. Melting the skyscrapers of Tokyo and abstract glowing shapes into a young Melbourne singer’s face, they colourfully combine video and music to create an audio and visual experience.
Featuring Simon Lam (of electronic-pop band I’lls) and the visuals of acid-trip-out-themed movie Into The Void, the duo have created both a track and a video that is almost criminally stunning. Saying the new EP will “exists somewhere between the headphones and a club, straddling the divide between late night bedroom listening-parties and the large, visceral experiences” we can’t wait for their forthcoming EP In Mind that will be released early 2013 or their live Melbourne Music Week show.
