Dreamy Californian indie-rock duo Best Coast released their single “I Don’t Know How” last month. Now the video for the track has been released too, and it is suitably Californian – sun-soaked and full of palm trees.

It’s shot at a skate bowl as Bethany Cosentino sings, and is pushed around sitting on a board (’cause it just ain’t lady-like to try and stand up on one or anything), while instrumentalist Bobb Bruno looks on.

The scene then turns into a party with some improvised crowdsurfing – ’cause if you’re heartbroken in California, you at least get to sing about it in the sun with some skater mates.

“I Don’t Know How” is off Best Coast’s latest EP Fade Away, which is out now.
