I think this could finally be the triumphant return to form Dipset fans have been waiting for since the group’s comeback announcement back in 2010. Hype for Cam’ron and A-Trak’s Federal Reserve EP has been gaining momentum off the back of the earlier previews and a Complex April/May cover story, but nothing comes closer to recapturing the golden Diplomats era we want than this new single Dipsh*ts and its accompanying video clip directed by Ricky Saiz. 

With a Just Blaze assisted production, a Juelz Santana hook and a Dame Dash outro, older rap fans listening to this track will be instantly transported back to the height of the Roc-a-fella dynasty in the mid-00’s, when Just Blaze and Kanye were the untouchable hit makers and before the Jigga/Dame Dash feud that eventually toppled the empire shortly after. The video clip also served as a roll call for all the original Diplomats members, hinting that there could potentially be a posse track involved in the release.
