Kehlani lit up the stage on Jimmy Kimmel to perform one of her lead singles, ‘CRZY’, in the wake of debut album release, SWEETSEXYSAVAGE, over the weekend. She made her late-night television debut on Kimmel and, boy, did she slay it. Speaking with WGCI-FM, the hip-hop artist spoke about the therapeutic importance of the single. “‘CRZY’ was something that I needed myself,” she recalls. “And not for the sake of, you know, bring your career back after you’ve gone through something. But I needed to feel good. I needed something that was going to make me feel like, you know, if I gotta be a B-word, I’m gonna be a bad one… It picked me up”.

After her hospitalisation last year, we’re glad to see her picking herself up. It’s great to see her at the top of her game, and we’re loving her determination. Keep smiling, Kehlani. We’re expecting a big 2017 for her.
