K. Dot never shies away from live performance and at this year’s Austin City Limits (ACL) festival, Kendrick controls the crowd with his powerful stage presence, encouraging the crowd to chant with him “We gon’ be alright”. ‘Alright’ is not only an extremely good song in its own right but it has become a prominent feature in the many protests that have been occurring across the US in recent months. Spanning across two weekends, this year’s ACL hosted an array of artists including Drake, Vince Staples, Tame Impala, A$AP Rocky and many more, with Kendrick dominating the stage.
