Swedish artist Yung Lean has dropped his latest video clip for track, “Eye Contact” and it is probably one of the most random we’ve seen – even by Leandoer’s standards. There’s a real focus on colour and bizarre combination of objects like flowers, fruit, fish heads, and a whole heap of other things that don’t really make sense. Flashing strobe lights emphasise certain colours and make the objects dip in and out of visibility.
The handheld-filmed video makes you feel like you’re right there with Lean as he smokes a cigarette and raps over the sound of a trombone in a snapchat inspired flower crown. It has a real psychedelic vibe created not only by the strange imagery but also by the lo-fi footage. Check it out in the gallery above.
