Just in case you forgot how far removed luxury fashion is from regular society Chanel’s come along with a very timely reminder. The internet let out a collective sigh today when it discovered that one of the French luxury house’s Spring-Summer 2017 Pre-Collection accessories is a boomerang costing close to $2000.

The discovery was made even worse when it was revealed Chanel have apparently been making boomerangs for years and we were only alerted to it because someone follows a YouTuber on Snapchat. The whole thing’s just bad, ok.
