01. Reebok x Bait x Stranger Things

In celebration of the Season 2 premiere of Stanger Things Reebok and Bait have teamed up with the hit show to release a special silhouette set to feature heavily in the upcoming Season. The 80’s classic Reebok Ex-O-Fit will be emblazoned with ghostly illustrations from Dustin Henderson himself, played by Gaten Matarazzo. The inspiration behind the look unsurprisingly comes from the actor’s love for the 1984 supernatural gem Ghostbusters. Alongside the unique illustrations, the model will be bolstered by a premium leather construction and an adjustable ankle strap. If you’re a die hard fan this is sure to be a piece of memorabilia not to miss. Retailing at $140USD These sci-fi grails will be releasing instore at Bait or via their online raffle tomorrow on October 28.

02. Nikes AF100 Collaboration

Standing at the forefront of Nike’s commemorative celebration of the Air Force 1’s 35th anniversary, the AF100 collection epitomises the silhouettes ability to transcend over various mediums be it sport, music, art, fashion, street, and city. Nike have gathered the influential minds of Travis Scott, Virgil Abloh, Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke  of Roc-A-Fella, Errolson Hugh (Acronym), and Don C (Just Don), to reinterpret the evergreen White-White classic. Al Baik, Nike’s Senior Creative Director noted that “the design process was a mixture of remaining classic and recognisable to air force 1 while connecting to their lives personally and the fields they represent.” Check out each of the five individual iterations above and stay tuned for each to release at complex con from the beginning of November, and at later dates individually.

The latest rendezvous from the two streetwear powerhouses is set to offer up a fresh take on the Palace Pro. The Palace Pro 2 features a one piece synthetic upper and an inner mesh bootie to offer protection from the elements. 05. Lil Yachty signs with Reebok

Reebok’s already star studded line-up (Future, Rae Sremmured, and Gucci Mane) now lay claim to Atlanta Native Lil Yachty. The nature of the partnership still remains in the air at the moment, leaving questions as to whether he will take on his own collaborative silhouettes or play into a more ambassador type role. His recent comments regarding a possible boat shoe reinterpretation with Reebok, may however bring a tear to the eyes of frat bro’s and other young men living out of their parent’s pockets. Yachty turned down the idea saying, “I hate boat shoes. It was like a weird boat shoe, there were beads hanging, and it was weird”. For the time being you can catch Yachty rocking the Workout sneaker for upcoming events and campaigns. Reebok has given the tip to stay tuned for upcoming news regarding the newly formed partnership, which may suggest an upcoming sneaker collaboration is more than just a pipedream.
