Luckily for us, Nike have finally unveiled their Lunar Rod Safari. This special limited edition release from Nike SB combines the sole from a Lunar Braata shoe and the upper from Paul Rodriguez’s latest signature shoe, the P-Rod VI. In celebration of the release, Rodriguez enlisted the help of Los Angeles retail crew Primitive to create a special edition colourway. Taking inspiration from the Air Max 1 Safari, the sneaker sports red, black, orange, and safari hits, and uses the double-layered LunarLon foundation seen on the LunarGlide+ 4. Combining the comfort of running with the durability of a skate shoe, this is certainly one of the freshest releases from Nike SB this year. Although there’s no official release date so far, the kicks are slated for a very limited release this October.
