It might be the middle of summer in Australia, but today it’s raining in Melbourne (trust) so we’ve felt a sudden surge of inspiration for how we’re going to dress when it’s the real thing.

Yosuke Aizawa’s White Mountaineering is always a go-to brand if you’re lacking in the outerwear department. The Japanese label creates cleanly smart yet readily on-trend silhouettes that’ll make you look, and feel, warmer than IKEA Monkey (never forget). Their latest batch of streetwear greatness comes with their F/W14 cookbook which features a colour spectrum that spans from vibrant reds, deep navy hues to desert camo, with a trusty stockpile of monochromatic black pieces in between. Trenches, leather jackets, knits, trousers, beanies – it’s enough to get you nostalgic for weather below 25°C.

Scroll through the gallery above and picture yourself in a cosy fair isle knit roasting a marshmellow in front of a campfire. In the meantime though, brb, sweating in summer.
