I have to say I’m really enjoying every bit of collateral that I’ve seen come out in regards to the upcoming Louis Vuitton Yayoi Kusama range. The luxury brand has teamed with the iconic Japanese artist on a capsule range of products, from garments to accessories and leather goods. It’s one of those collaborations that just really seems to work and the finished products (especially the garments) are so striking (that polka dot raincoat? Damn), in my eyes it’s a match made in heaven. Also love how they have styled the latest images from the lookbook, with the model donning Kusama’s signature black hair and bangs. I’d love to know how this collaboration went down, as the Japanese are known for their attention to detail and Kusama is clearly an eccentric soul, would have been a very interesting process no doubt.
