Japanese music producer, entrepreneur, Bape founder and all-round creative superstar Nigo is celebrating his 25th year in fashion with a mammoth auction. The cultural icon, renowned for his art collections and impeccable aesthetics will be selling 250 items from his personal stash.

The auction, to be hosted by Sotheby’s will showcase everything from Star Wars collectibles to art-deco furniture sets. The lot will include some of Nigo’s most well-known items including his famed Jacob & Co. diamond encrusted dollar sign chain, an incredibly rare Louis Vuitton mink blanket, Jean Prouvé Banquette No.356 sofa, 10 Andy Warhol Campbell’s Soup screen-prints from 1968 and many more pop-culture treasures.

Nigo explains his inspiration for holding the sale as an opportunity to get some prehumous selling joy. “I wanted to have an estate sale of my own but obviously I couldn’t get any enjoyment from it myself if I was dead. So I decided to do it now.”

The Nigo Only Lives Twice Auction will be held in Hong Kong on October 7. View some of the sale items above or head to the Sotheby’s site for more information and accompanying videos.
