When you live in Australia, it’s easy to forget that somebody somewhere in the world is freezing their arse off in December. Thankfully, in the middle of the dead northern hemisphere winter there’s still clothing lines such as Opening Ceremony who – not only remind you your balls may get stuck to the toilet seat – but also remind you to be cosy without sacrificing style.
The New York label recently revealed their upcoming capsule collection “CrazyCozyCool”. The line features an assortment of streetwear favourites with a furry, fuzzy, warm twist. Varsity jackets are laden with faux fur leopard prints and unisex caps are covered in soft, snuggly materials. Opening Ceremony have even included a line of loose-fitting pyjamas – including shirts, pants and shorts – with customers having the choice of either pink or gold fur.
The label has also gone back to their roots by including a diamond-patched hoodie – which was one of the first garments made by the label back in 2002. “CrazyCozyCool” items are now on sale so head over to OC’s official website to suss them out.
