Let’s welcome the New Year in footwear with a fairly polarising release, streetwear label Pleasures’ gothic collaboration with Crocs. The LA brand riffed on their rock, punk and black-metal inspired aesthetic for the release, plastering a skeleton over the staple clog silhouette. They also added some clean branding on the top strap. A pair will set you back $60USD.
This isn’t the first unexpected Crocs collaboration in recent memory, with Post Malone putting his own spin on the sandal late last year. Today, the Crocs are attracting eye-watering resell prices up to $900. Balenciaga did it in 2017, but it was Christopher Kane who really kicked things off, offering up rocky, mineral-laden Crocs in 2016.
The Pleasures collaboration slated to drop on their website later today. Check out a couple shots of the collaboration above, and head over to www.pleasuresnow.com for the official release.
