Beyoncé is up to something and nobody really knows what but everybody is pretty keen for it. Following the surprise release of new track ‘Formation’, a very rare magazine interview with Elle, and her athleisure line Ivy Park, we’ve given up on trying to anticipate when and what Bey is going to do next. But that doesn’t mean that we’re not expecting to be highly impressed by it.
The latest to whet our appetites is a short clip shared to Instagram, showing the Queen sporting braids and luxe fur, leaning against a car and scored by a very ominous instrumental. The video ends with a shout out to HBO, indicating there will be a “world premiere event” going down on April 23.
Three years ago, Beyoncé did share her very personal documentary Life is But a Dream via the network, so a television special isn’t completely out of the question. However, fans are definitely clamouring for some new music, with the surprise world-stopping album Beyoncé also dropping in 2013. Although how a musical release would be facilitated through a medium like HBO is anyone’s guess. But then again, we are talking about Beyoncé, and she can literally do anything. Luckily we won’t have to wait too long to find out. Check out the teaser below.
